Folk Music Society
For folk musicians, dancers, and anyone else interested; we run a variety of events for both the society and the general (primarily student) public.
FolkSoc, a chance for musicians of all abilities to have the chance to play some fun music with some great people. We will host and support regular ceilidhs events over the year, so people who want to learn ceilidh dancing can also join in with the society. We also have weekly teaching sessions to learn some tunes and songs (mostly traditional English/French/Welsh/Scottish/Irish), and some extra fun sessions over the year, usually followed by some sort of session or socialising.

We also run ceilidhs for other societies as socials, please contact someone on committee or the FolkSoc email to arrange this.
